The completion of the board of directors paves the way for a new phase of work, characterized by serious preparation for upcoming commitments, foremost among which is the reconstruction and development of the national teams, ensuring their performance aligns with the stature of Kuwaiti handball at both the continental and international levels.

The 2027 World Cup finals, scheduled for January next year, top the list of challenges facing the senior Kuwaiti national team, placing significant responsibility on the federation in the coming period. Preparing for the World Cup requires a comprehensive training program that includes training camps, friendly matches, and enhancing players’ technical and physical readiness.

The federation’s work will not be limited to the national teams; attention is also turning to domestic competitions. The new board aims to continue developing the Premier League and Cup competitions for the senior category, while also focusing on youth categories, which serve as the foundational base for the national teams in the future.
