The Public Authority for Social Security issued Decision No. 6 of 2026, which stipulates the continuation of pension installments that were suspended due to the revocation of Kuwaiti citizenship from deceased insured persons or pensioners, to their rightful beneficiaries, in accordance with the conditions specified in the decision.

The decision, published in “Kuwait Al-Yawm” issued today, Sunday, states that the installments will continue to be paid from the date of suspension, provided that the name of the deceased source is included in the lists prepared by the Supreme Commission for Kuwaiti Nationality.

The decision subjects beneficiaries to the provisions of the Social Security Law, except for Articles 73 and 75. It also stipulates that the marriage grant stipulated in Article 71 shall not be paid to a daughter, sister, or niece who are entitled to installments when payments are suspended due to marriage.

Furthermore, the decision determined that the annual increase provided for in Law No. 25 of 2001 shall not apply to the installments reinstated under this decision.

The decision assigned the Public Authority for Social Security with implementing its provisions, to take effect one month after its publication in the Official Gazette.
