The Long-Term Testing Facility (MLTTF) operated by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) produced more than 1.5 million barrels of oil and 2 billion cubic feet of gas during its first year of operation, with peak production rates reaching approximately 7,800 barrels of oil per day and 8 million standard cubic feet of gas per day.
KOC stated that Talal Al-Adwani, Director of the New Projects Group, accompanied by team leaders, engineers, and technical leadership from the group, along with representatives from the sixth Drilling and Well Services Team, visited the facility in northwest Kuwait to review its operational performance and recognize the efforts of the workforce.
The company noted that the visit came one year after the start of operations, as a tribute to the outstanding efforts and team spirit that contributed to achieving these results, and to reinforce the company’s work in developing remote and complex fields.
