Italian Super Cup Held in Milan Instead of Saudi Arabia

Rome (AFP) – The Italian Super Cup will be held in Milan on December 22 next year, following four editions staged in Saudi Arabia.

Since 2023, the competition had featured four teams: the league champion and runner-up, along with the cup winner and runner-up. From now on, it will revert to its previous format, featuring only the Italian league champion and the cup winner, with semi-finals and a final.

Since Inter Milan won the domestic double last May, they will face Lazio in the Super Cup, after Lazio lost 3-0 to the Lombard club in the cup final.
