Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood, announced on Thursday the re-administration of the supervisory position examinations for applicants to cooperative societies, in accordance with clear and transparent regulations that ensure equality and equal opportunity for all candidates.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al-Huwail said that the specialized investigation committee had submitted its report and recommendations after reviewing comments and complaints regarding the procedures surrounding the exam.
She clarified that the committee recommended re-administering the test due to technical problems that accompanied the original examination, foremost among which was a power outage. She noted that coordination had been established with the Gulf University for Science and Technology to conduct a new examination for all applicants.
Al-Huwail emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to safeguarding the rights of all parties, commending the cooperation and coordination between the Ministry and the Gulf University for Science and Technology.
