Hundreds of Settlers Storm 'Al-Aqsa' Under Heavy Protection from Occupation Police
The agency added that occupation forces had bolstered their presence in the Old City and the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surroundings since the early hours of dawn, to secure the incursions of settlers. Dozens of occupation police officers were deployed at the gates of Al-Aqsa and the streets of the Old City, hindering worshippers’ access.
Al Jazeera reported that more than 36 buses carrying settlers arrived successively at the Tomb of Joseph since the hours following midnight, coinciding with the sixth day of the Jewish “Feast of the Throne” (Sukkot), noting that Talmudic rituals continued to be performed inside the shrine and in its vicinity.
