Al-Qadsiah Defeats Salisbury in Friendly Match

Al-Qadsieh FC defeated their English visitors, Salzburg, 3-2 in a friendly match held today at the Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium, as part of the visiting team’s trip to Kuwait and Al-Qadsieh’s preparations to resume their currently suspended “Zain League” top-flight competitions, which are paused in line with FIFA dates, while Salzburg awaits a third-round tie against Dulwich Hamlet in the English FA Cup.

Young player Abdullah Al-Ghanim added another goal for “the Yellow” with a strike from the edge of the penalty area following a pass from Khaled Al-Kharqaoui, ending the first half with his team leading 2-0.

In the second half, Khaled Al-Kharqaoui extended Al-Qadsieh’s lead to 3-1, capitalizing on a clever pass from Khadher, before the English side rallied in tandem with several substitutions made by Al-Qadsieh’s coach, scoring two goals to narrow the margin without managing to equalize.
