High patronage for the new edition of 'With the Students'

The Ministries of Education and Information announced the launch of the new edition of the “With Students” program for the 2026-2027 academic year, under the high patronage of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The program includes a series of competitions aimed at twelfth-grade students, with the goal of developing their abilities, highlighting their talents, and fostering a spirit of competition and creativity among them, continuing the legacy of the program since its first edition in 1975.

Maryam Al-Anzi, Director of the General Administration of Supporting Educational Services at the Ministry of Education, stated in an interview with KUNA following a press conference announcing the launch of the program for the new academic year, that the initiative aligns with the ministry’s commitment to diversifying student activities and programs accompanying the educational process, and to opening broader opportunities for students to showcase their abilities and skills in a stimulating competitive environment. This contributes to shaping their personalities and encouraging innovation and active participation.

She added that the program aims to enhance student participation in various competitions designed to discover and develop student talents and energies, while instilling values of positive competition and teamwork, and motivating students to develop their skills and utilize their capabilities across different fields.

For his part, Badr Al-Duai, Director of the General Administration of Television at the Ministry of Information, told KUNA that the “With Students” program enjoys the high patronage of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to encourage students to participate in scientific and intellectual competitions. He noted that it represents one of the longstanding educational television programs associated with the memories of successive generations of students and viewers.

Al-Duai explained that the program’s continuity over these decades reflects the importance of media in supporting the educational process and highlighting student potential. He emphasized the commitment to leveraging modern media and technical capabilities in presenting the new edition, in a manner that keeps pace with developments in television production, while preserving the distinctive identity of the program since its inception. This approach aims to enhance interaction between students and viewers with the competitions and deliver engaging educational and informative content.
