Direct Investment Promotion Authority Signs MoU with Swiss Global Institution

In the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and Swiss President Guy Parmelin, the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on “promoting direct investment” between the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and the Swiss Global Enterprise took place today, Tuesday, at the Bundeshaus in Bern, the Swiss capital. The event was held within the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and expanding the horizons of joint cooperation between Kuwait and Switzerland.

The memorandum was signed on the Kuwaiti side by Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of KDIPA, and on the Swiss side by Magali Hero, Chief Executive Officer for Investment Promotion and member of the Executive Board of Swiss Global Enterprise, in the presence of senior officials from both sides.

This memorandum reflects the commitment of the State of Kuwait and Switzerland to develop the frameworks of economic and investment cooperation and to enhance partnership in areas of mutual interest, thereby contributing to supporting direct investment opportunities, achieving mutual benefits, and consolidating the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries.
