Two Days of the Days

Several days have been designated to highlight social, psychological, and political issues, as well as other matters related to daily life.

World Alzheimer’s Day, which is observed annually on September 21, is marked by the Alzheimer’s Association, which emphasizes the disease. The organization believes that the key to winning the fight against dementia lies in a unique combination of global solutions and local knowledge. It works locally to empower national associations to strengthen their roles in providing care and support to people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families.

Approximately 35 million people worldwide suffer from Alzheimer’s disease, a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that is the most common cause of dementia (accounting for 60% to 80% of cases). It leads to brain cell damage and declines in memory and cognitive abilities.

Dementia is not an inevitable part of aging, although it is more common after age 65. Currently, dementia is the seventh leading cause of death globally and a significant cause of disability and dependence among older adults.

It is essential to provide support to those affected and their families to help them overcome this crisis and move beyond it, so they can live safe, secure lives free from illness.

It is also World Appreciation of the Wife Day, observed annually on September 3.

A woman understands in a single minute what a man may never grasp in his entire life. A man’s intellect cannot equal a woman’s emotion.

A woman is a planet that illuminates a man’s path; without her, he remains in darkness. Like a supple branch that bends with the wind in every direction, she does not break in the storm.

Greetings to all mothers who vigilantly care for their children, enabling them to face life with peaceful hearts, strong arms, and sound minds, empowering them to advance and thrive in the face of life’s hardships.
