Suspects arrested for reckless driving and ramming their vehicles

The General Directorate of Traffic, represented by the Security Control Department, announced the arrest of suspects for engaging in reckless and dangerous driving that endangered road users in the Al-Wafra agricultural area, as well as for deliberately obstructing a security patrol to help one of them evade capture.

The Directorate explained that the arrest followed the observation of a vehicle driving without license plates and emitting loud noises, accompanied by another vehicle whose driver obstructed the security patrol’s operations.

It added that, after conducting search and investigative operations, the suspects were apprehended, and a video recording was also obtained documenting the reckless and dangerous behavior of the driver of the first vehicle.

The General Directorate of Traffic reaffirmed its continued monitoring and follow-up efforts to apprehend violators, warning against the dangers of reckless driving and obstructing security patrols, and emphasizing that legal measures will be taken against offenders to safeguard the safety of all road users.
