Al-Farwaniya Governor: Residents' safety is a priority, and eliminating stray dogs is a necessity

Al-Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Adbi Nasser Al-Adbi Al-Sabah emphasized the importance of cooperation between citizens and residents, and of promptly reporting stray dog gatherings to the relevant authorities, to safeguard their safety. He stressed the need to intensify efforts and coordinate among concerned entities to curb this phenomenon and address it effectively.

This came as the governor visited a staff member of the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources at Al-Farwaniya Hospital to inquire about his health condition, following an attack by a number of stray dogs while he was carrying out his duties at the authority’s headquarters, which resulted in various injuries. The governor wished him a speedy recovery and full health and safety.

The governor also met with the emergency team at Al-Farwaniya Hospital, commending their efforts and the medical care they provide, and expressing his appreciation for their role in handling emergency cases. He highlighted Al-Farwaniya Governorate’s full readiness to cooperate and coordinate with all relevant authorities and support any joint efforts aimed at addressing the stray dog phenomenon, enhancing safety measures, and protecting the governorate’s residents and ensuring their safety.

In a separate development, Al-Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Adbi Nasser discussed a number of issues of mutual interest with South Korean Ambassador to Kuwait Kim Jang-hyun, reviewing ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise, thereby contributing to strengthening the relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Korea.

This came during the governor’s reception of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Kuwait on Sunday.

The ambassador expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the governor for the warm reception, commending the deep bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
