Mohammed VI: Saudi Security and Stability Are an Inseparable Part of Morocco's Security

Moroccan King Mohammed VI affirmed Rabat’s unwavering support for Riyadh in confronting the threats posed by the Houthi terrorist and separatist militias and the regional forces backing them, which pursue a short-sighted and destructive agenda aimed at undermining the security of their neighbors and the broader region, destabilizing the peace enjoyed by its countries, and threatening vital maritime chokepoints of critical importance to the global economy and international maritime navigation security.

In two messages sent to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, the King stated that these despicable attacks and desperate attempts to undermine the security, stability, and well-being of the proud Saudi people constitute not only an assault on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its noble people, and the pilgrims within its borders, but also a blatant affront to the sentiments of more than 1.8 billion Muslims across the globe, as well as a flagrant violation of the values and principles underpinning the noble Islamic faith, including peace, tolerance, and the sanctity of lives, honor, and sacred sites.

He further expressed condemnation of these criminal acts, holding the Houthi terrorist militias and those behind them—those who fund and arm them—fully responsible, declaring that all such parties are accountable before God, history, and international law, and should face corresponding international sanctions.

He emphasized that what intensifies this condemnation is that these aggressions have not been confined to targeting facilities and civilians, but have escalated into desperate and sinful attempts to strike the holiest places on Earth, revered in the hearts of every Muslim: Makkah al-Mukarramah and Madinah al-Munawwarah.
