Italy Deports Artist Who Blocked a Highway in Milan
Rome – AFP – Italy deported Moldovan trap musician Bratan today after he closed a highway near Milan to film a music video, Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi announced.
The artist, whose real name is Nicolai Novashchenko, rode a motorcycle with about 30 people on the highway this month and posted a video on his Instagram account.
Writing on X, Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi stated: “Given the threat he posed to public safety, his residence permit was revoked and he was deported on the first flight to his country.”
According to media reports, the 32-year-old artist had been living in Italy since he was 17. He has a partner and a one-year-old child.
