- Safeguarding the Kuwaitization project and ensuring the integrity of its implementation procedures are non-negotiable priorities.

The Minister of Social Affairs, Labor, Social Development, Family, and Childhood, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaili, has directed the formation of an independent and urgent investigative committee to review all procedures related to the aptitude test for candidates applying for supervisory positions in cooperative societies, which was held today at a private university.

Dr. Al-Huwaili emphasized that the Ministry will not tolerate any violations compromising the integrity of the tests or the principle of equal opportunity among candidates. She stressed that all complaints and observations will be examined with utmost seriousness, impartiality, and transparency, and that necessary measures will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.

The Minister reiterated her commitment to advancing the implementation of the plan to Kuwaitize supervisory positions in cooperative societies, providing employment opportunities for national talents in accordance with fair and transparent standards, in line with the directives of the political leadership. She stressed that she will not accept any shortcomings that could disrupt, delay, or compromise the integrity of this plan or the principle of equal opportunity among candidates. She affirmed that protecting the Kuwaitization project and ensuring the integrity of its implementation procedures represent a non-negotiable priority.

This directive comes in light of complaints and observations received by the Ministry from several candidates regarding the difficulty level of the test, the conditions under which it was administered, the relevance of its questions to the provided study material, and the appropriateness of the test questions to the nature of the supervisory positions and their requirements.

The committee will review the content and topics of the study material with the authorities responsible for its preparation, review, and approval, as well as the foundations upon which the test was based. It will also assess the relevance of the questions to the announced study material, in addition to reviewing the accuracy, balance, and effectiveness of the questions in objectively and fairly measuring the professional competence required for the cooperative supervisory positions.

Furthermore, the committee will review all procedures followed in preparing, storing, and electronically distributing the test, identify individuals granted access to view it and ensure its confidentiality, and investigate the validity of allegations regarding the potential leakage or prior access to test questions before the scheduled exam date, based on records, electronic correspondence, and relevant evidence.
