Teachers' Association Continues Preparations for Educational Conference

The Kuwait Teachers Association is continuing its preparations to organize its 46th Educational Conference, which will be held under the patronage of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and attended by Minister of Education Jalal Al-Tabtabaai, representing His Highness. The conference will take place from October 4 to 6 next year, under the theme “Innovative Visions for a Sustainable Educational Future in Kuwait.”

Hamad Al-Houli, President of the Association, noted that the generous patronage of His Highness the Amir for the conference carries significant implications, underscoring His Highness’s strong commitment to educational issues and his support for all efforts aimed at implementing reform, development, and improvement plans. He emphasized the Amir’s dedication to supporting teachers, affirming their status and role in building the nation’s future, particularly given that the conference coincides with the month in which the world commemorates International Teachers’ Day on October 5.

He added that all conference events and sessions will be held in the morning at the Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre, featuring 24 sessions and workshops. The event will attract a broad educational audience of no fewer than 3,000 educators, with numerous specialists, academics, and education experts from within and outside Kuwait participating in its sessions and workshops. These sessions will discuss key areas for developing curricula through innovative approaches aligned with future demands, education in the context of digital transformation and the use of artificial intelligence, and the application of modern technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
