Kuwait Embassy in Malaysia Receives Delegation from the Deaf Club

In line with Kuwait’s commitment to supporting its athletes and enhancing their presence in international sporting arenas, Counselor Badr Al-Saqar, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in the Kingdom of Malaysia, received Mashari Al-Mutairi, head of the Kuwaiti Sports Club for the Deaf delegation, accompanied by delegation administrator Khalaf Al-Shammari, at the embassy premises in the capital, Kuala Lumpur.

During the meeting, the mechanisms and arrangements for the Kuwaiti Sports Club for the Deaf’s participation in the Asian and Pacific Games for the Deaf, scheduled to be held from 3 to 10 October 2026 on Penang Island, Malaysia, were discussed. The meeting also covered various logistical and coordination matters concerning the delegation, reflecting the club’s dedication to early preparation and creating optimal conditions for participation.

The meeting underscored the importance of coordination and cooperation between the club and the Kuwaiti Embassy in Malaysia, contributing to the success of the Kuwaiti delegation’s participation and ensuring it presents an honorable image befitting the State of Kuwait in this Asian sporting event.

For his part, delegation head Mashari Al-Mutairi expressed his sincere gratitude and high appreciation to Counselor Badr Al-Saqar for the warm welcome and hospitality, as well as for his attention and commitment to following up on the delegation’s affairs and supporting Kuwaiti deaf athletes. He affirmed that this attention reflects the honorable national role played by the embassy in supporting Kuwaitis during their international participations.

The delegation also commended the efforts and cooperation of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Malaysia, expressing their hope that Kuwait’s participation in the Games will be successful and that Kuwaiti deaf athletes will deliver a performance worthy of the nation’s name, raising the flag of Kuwait in this Asian forum.
