Al-Awlad Al-Kuwait Al-Khairiya General Assembly approves its report and endorses its board of directors

During its meeting, attended by representatives of the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Assembly approved the financial and administrative report and the estimated budget for 2026. It also appointed Al-Waha Office as the external auditor, endorsed the re-election of board members for the terms 2026 and 2027, and amended one of the articles of the association’s bylaws concerning the number of board members.

Mohammed Hussein Ashkanani, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, stated that the fierce competition to attract donors and win their trust necessitates adopting modern, unconventional approaches, such as digital marketing strategies that have reshaped the landscape of humanitarian work both globally and locally. He emphasized that the changing reality requires us to adhere to the highest standards of sound and institutional governance, and to maintain absolute commitment to the principles of transparency and integrity in managing all our projects and funds.

The Kuwaiti Sons Charitable Association has recently launched a series of digital charitable initiatives, including an electronic charity piggy bank and a service allowing users to create their own charitable projects, as part of its ambitious plans to develop the digital charitable sector.
