Fire evacuates building in Hawally Square

Firefighters brought a fire under control in an apartment in Hawally Square, which prompted the evacuation of the building’s residents.

The General Fire Force’s operations center received a report of the fire and dispatched firefighters from the Hawally and Salmiya stations to respond. The fire affected an apartment on the fifth floor. The building was evacuated, and the fire was extinguished until it was fully contained. No injuries were reported, and the scene was handed over to the relevant authorities.
