Qatar's Foreign Ministry: Prime Minister to discuss regional developments and de-escalation efforts with Iranian President in New York

Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian on Friday to discuss the latest regional developments and efforts to de-escalate tensions, according to the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In a statement, the ministry said that the meeting, held at the Iranian President’s residence in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, also focused on creating favorable conditions for dialogue to enhance regional security and stability.
