Sosa added in the press conference ahead of Saturday’s match against the Iraqi national team in the Gulf Arab Cup (Gulf Cup 27) that the game poses a challenge, especially given that pressure exists in all matches, whether against strong opponents or otherwise.

He highlighted the importance of fan support for the national team, expressing his happiness with the attendance and backing of the crowd, while noting that a significant Iraqi fan presence is also expected to support their national team.

Sosa explained that the technical staff is focused on improving the physical and technical aspects of the team, particularly as the Iraqi squad includes several players who are professionals playing abroad.

He emphasized that the challenges are significant and that the Kuwaiti national team will strive to deliver its best performance in the match.

He affirmed that the team delivered the required level in the previous match but failed to achieve the desired result, expressing hope that the team will provide a performance that pleases the Kuwaiti fans.

The Kuwaiti national team resumed its training yesterday in preparation for the match against its Iraqi counterpart as part of the tournament.
