Prince's Representative Discusses Investment Cooperation and Development of National Human Capital with Blackstone

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, acting on behalf of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, continued his meetings in New York, receiving a number of leaders and officials, along with a senior executive from the global investment firm Blackstone.

The Crown Prince received Jonathan Gray, President and Chief Operating Officer of Blackstone, and his accompanying delegation, at the Kuwait Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The meeting discussed opportunities for joint investment cooperation between Kuwait and Blackstone, as well as global economic developments and investment opportunities. It also explored ways to provide opportunities for investing in national human capital, thereby contributing to developing their capabilities, honing their skills, and leveraging global expertise in investment fields.

The meetings also addressed bilateral relations between Kuwait and the respective countries, and ways to develop them, alongside discussions on the latest developments in regional and international affairs.

Furthermore, the Crown Prince received Dr. Abdullah Al-Alemi Baawazir, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen, and his accompanying delegation. They discussed the fraternal bilateral relations between Kuwait and the Republic of Yemen and ways to develop them in the interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples, as well as the latest developments in regional and international affairs.

In a separate meeting, the Crown Prince received NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and his accompanying delegation. They reviewed the frameworks of distinguished partnership and cooperation between Kuwait and NATO, within the framework of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative, and followed up on training and technical cooperation programs through the NATO Regional Center in Kuwait. They also discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest and efforts to enhance international security and stability.

Additionally, the Crown Prince received the Taoiseach of Ireland, Michael Martin, and his accompanying delegation. They discussed bilateral relations between Kuwait and Ireland and ways to develop them in the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples, alongside discussions on the latest developments in regional and international affairs.
