Enhancing Kuwait-Korea Cooperation in Sustainability and Food Security

State Minister for Development and Sustainability, Dr. Reem Al-Faleh, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the country, Jang Hyun Kim, to discuss avenues of cooperation between the two friendly countries in the fields of sustainability and enhancing food security.

The Ministry of Development and Sustainability stated in a statement on Thursday that Al-Faleh received Ambassador Kim at the headquarters of the Public Authority for Environment. The meeting also discussed ways to cooperate in land reclamation and smart agriculture, as well as the potential to leverage Korean technologies and expertise in fish farming.

The ministry noted that the meeting comes within the framework of efforts to strengthen cooperation between Kuwait and the Republic of Korea, and to develop areas of partnership of mutual interest that serve the interests of the two friendly countries.
