"Alaa Auto" unveils the new SOUEAST S08 with a gasoline engine
Al Mal International Automobile Trading – “Al Mal Auto,” a company within the Al Mal Group and the authorized distributor of SOUEAST vehicles in Kuwait, announced its participation in the Kuwait Auto Show 2026, held at the Kuwait International Fairgrounds from September 21 to 26. The company unveiled the new gasoline-powered S08 model, alongside showcasing a range of the latest SOUEAST models and offering exclusive promotions to exhibition visitors.
The unveiling of the gasoline-powered S08 represents one of the key highlights of SOUEAST’s participation this year, expanding the available model options in the Kuwaiti market alongside the plug-in hybrid S08 DM version. The new S08 offers a spacious seven-seat family experience, combining striking exterior design, a roomy cabin, modern technology, and advanced comfort and safety features.
The S08’s equipment includes a 15.6-inch screen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, seats equipped with heating, cooling, and massage functions, an official front-facing dashcam, and a CDC (Continuous Damping Control) suspension system. Furthermore, steel accounts for 86% of the vehicle’s body structure, complemented by a suite of advanced safety systems that enhance protection and driving confidence.
The S08 is also available in a plug-in hybrid S08 DM version, delivering up to 347 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque, with a driving range of up to 1,200 kilometers, combining strong performance with extended range.
The SOUEAST lineup at the exhibition also includes the S06 sport crossover, which blends youthful design with modern technology. It is available in a plug-in hybrid S06 DM version producing 355 horsepower and offering a driving range of up to 800 kilometers. The brand also presents the S07, a seven-seat family crossover, alongside the S09, a large seven-seat SUV available with all-wheel drive.
