Orba launches "2 Idea Hub" to turn employee ideas into solutions and prototypes
Wurba Bank has launched the second edition of its internal innovation program, “Idea Hub,” in collaboration with Sprint Studio. This initiative is part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to foster a culture of innovation, enhance the work environment, and empower employees to participate in identifying challenges and opportunities, and to propose innovative ideas that contribute to developing and improving work methods and mechanisms.
The second edition of the program adopts a more advanced methodology, going beyond the stages of idea collection and evaluation to include workshops, training, and practical guidance that help participants develop, refine, and transform their ideas into testable prototypes for presentation to the evaluation committee.
This partnership reflects the bank’s commitment to leveraging specialized expertise in developing its internal innovation ecosystem and providing a comprehensive environment that enables employees to turn their ideas into valuable initiatives with tangible impact.
Regarding the program, Abdulrahman Al-Manifi, Head of the Digital Transformation Division, stated: “The Idea Hub program is built on a comprehensive journey that begins with submitting and evaluating ideas, proceeds through workshops and development, and culminates in the approval of qualified ideas, their presentation to the evaluation committee, and the selection of the winning idea.”
Al-Manifi added: “The second edition is distinguished by providing practical support, training, and guidance to participants, helping them refine their ideas, understand the challenges associated with their implementation, and develop prototypes that can be tested and presented to the evaluation committee.”
The program aims to make innovation an integral part of daily practice within the work environment by enabling employees to contribute to addressing real-world challenges and proposing new solutions, while providing the necessary tools and expertise to develop promising ideas.
