Donis calls up Attiya in place of Al-Aqidi

Georgios Donis, the Greek head coach of the Saudi Arabian national football team, has called up Al-Ola goalkeeper Abdulqadous Attia to the "Green Falcons" squad for the Gulf Cup "Khaleeji 27," which will be hosted in Jeddah from September 23 to October 6.

According to the official account of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, coach Donis decided to include Attia in place of Nawaf Al-Aqidi, who suffered a hand injury during the match against Kuwait.

Goalkeeper Attia had previously joined the "Green Falcons" preparatory camp ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals, before being excluded from the final World Cup squad.
