Prince's Representative Receives NATO Secretary-General in New York

Representing His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, received Mark Rutte, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and his accompanying delegation at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the frameworks of the distinguished partnership and cooperation between the State of Kuwait and NATO were reviewed within the context of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative, along with the follow-up on training and technical cooperation programs through the NATO Regional Center in the State of Kuwait. The discussions also covered regional and international issues of mutual interest, as well as efforts to enhance international security and stability.
