Kuwait condemns Houthi militia's ballistic missile launches toward Taif and Yanbu

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and strong denunciation of the Houthi militia’s launch of ballistic missiles toward the cities of Taif and Yanbu in the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its categorical rejection of the recurrence of these shameful hostile aggressions, which constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

In a statement issued on Thursday evening, the Ministry renewed the State of Kuwait’s full solidarity with the sister Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its standing alongside it, and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the protection of its citizens and residents. The Ministry emphasized that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the State of Kuwait and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
