Deputy Minister of Interior receives head of Iraq's Security Media Cell

On Thursday, Lieutenant General Abdulwahab Ahmad Al-Wahib, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, received at his office Lieutenant General Dr. Saad Mu'in, Head of the Security Media Cell of the Republic of Iraq, and his accompanying delegation.

Lieutenant General Al-Wahib emphasized the necessity of exchanging information, monitoring, analyzing, and directing security-related media statements to curb rumors, thereby ensuring cooperation between both parties. He also stressed the importance of strengthening security media communication channels, enhancing joint cooperation, transferring security expertise, and combating organized crime.

For his part, Lieutenant General Mu'in expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception, commended the deep fraternal relations binding the Republic of Iraq and the State of Kuwait, and affirmed the commitment to continuing to enhance cooperation and coordination.

The reception was attended by Lieutenant General Majbal Fahad Al-Rashidi, Head of the Land Border Security and Coast Guard Sector; Colonel Khalid Abdulkarim Al-Taraji, Director General of the Undersecretary’s Office; Colonel Nasser Eid Al-Busleib, Director General of the Security Media and Public Relations Department; and a number of security officials from both sides.
