21 New Schools in Al-Mutlaa

The Authority has set the expected timelines for the handover of the schools, beginning on November 19 with the delivery of six schools, comprising four kindergartens, one primary school, and one intermediate school for boys. It noted that the completion rates for these schools range between 81 and 98 percent.

It clarified that the handover of the remaining 15 schools will commence at the beginning of next year, with four schools to be delivered on February 13, including two kindergartens and two secondary schools for boys and girls. The handover of the remaining schools will continue in phases from April to August 2027.

The Authority is scheduled to complete the handover of all schools before the start of the 2027–2028 academic year, enabling the Ministry of Education to finalize the necessary preparations and put the schools into service according to the needs of the area.

In this regard, the Ministry of Education is working to provide school furniture for the new schools in preparation for their setup and opening, based on the Ministry’s requirements and the suitability of the Al-Mutlaa district in terms of population and the expected student density in its schools, particularly given the ongoing transfers to these schools throughout the academic year.
