KIB wins award for Best Bank in Banking Services and Real Estate Technology Innovation Locally

Kuwait International Bank (KIB) has been awarded the “Best Bank in Real Estate Banking and Real Estate Technology Innovation in Kuwait for 2026” by the Arab Federation of Banks, in recognition of its leadership in providing comprehensive real estate banking services and its efforts to develop innovative digital solutions that enhance the experience of clients and investors.
KIB was honored during the 2026 Arab Banking Excellence and Achievement Awards ceremony, held in Istanbul, Turkey, in the presence of a distinguished gathering of Arab banking leaders, as well as international and regional figures and institutions. The bank was represented at the event by Fahad Al-Saleh, Senior Manager of the Real Estate Advisory and Digital Solutions Department within the bank’s Real Estate Division, and Hossam Al-Kolk, Real Estate Expert and Head of the Digital Solutions Development Unit for the Real Estate Division at KIB.
On this occasion, Al-Saleh stated: “We are proud that KIB has received this award, which recognizes our extensive experience in the real estate sector and reflects the success of our approach in combining specialized expertise with innovation to deliver services and solutions that keep pace with market developments and meet the needs of clients and investors. We continue to build on this experience to enhance service efficiency and support the development of the real estate sector in Kuwait.”
For his part, Al-Kolk said: “At KIB, we focus on leveraging technology to simplify the client experience and develop tools that provide easier and more efficient access to real estate services and information. This recognition serves as a motivation to continue developing our digital solutions and keeping up with advancements in real estate technology, thereby enhancing the experience of clients and investors.”
In the field of real estate technology (PropTech), KIB has continued to develop its digital ecosystem, most notably the “KIB Aqari” platform, which integrates a range of real estate services, including property valuation, third-party asset management, mortgage financing, and electronic rent collection. The bank also launched the first construction and building cost calculator for residential plots in the banking sector, as well as the first electronic calculator for mortgage financing of investment and commercial projects. Additionally, it established a real estate database and an online platform for accredited real estate appraisers, aiming to accelerate valuation processes and enhance their accuracy and transparency.
KIB has also strengthened its commitment to best professional practices by joining the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC), becoming the first bank in Kuwait to join the organization. This move supports the application of international standards and enhances the quality and reliability of real estate valuation processes.
These efforts align with KIB’s commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, by promoting transparency and efficiency in real estate services, developing digital solutions that support more accurate decision-making, and adopting best practices and international professional standards in real estate valuation and advisory services.
