Prince's Representative Attends Trump's Meeting with Arab and Muslim Leaders to Strengthen Strategic Partnership and Support Regional De-escalation

The representative of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, continued his political activities in New York by participating in an Arab-Islamic meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, alongside a series of meetings with heads of state and government that addressed regional developments, the strengthening of bilateral relations, and coordination on regional and international issues.
The Prince’s representative participated in the joint meeting hosted by President Donald Trump of the friendly United States of America, attended by leaders and heads of delegations from several Arab and Islamic countries participating in the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.
During the meeting, held on Tuesday evening, participants discussed and reviewed the rapid developments and serious challenges facing the region, particularly Iran’s heinous aggressions against regional states, the safety and freedom of maritime navigation, and global energy supplies, in addition to the situation in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting also reaffirmed the importance of the strategic partnership and close, continuous coordination with the United States to enhance regional and international security, and to support efforts toward de-escalation and establishing the foundations for comprehensive and just peace in the region.
The meeting also addressed the relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Iraq and ways to strengthen them across various fields, serving the common interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples, as well as discussing recent developments and issues of mutual interest on the regional and international arenas.
The meeting reviewed the deep-rooted, historic fraternal relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Arab Republic of Egypt, characterized by close cooperation and continuous coordination, and discussed ways to support, strengthen, and elevate these relations to broader horizons in various fields, thereby serving the common interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
The two sides exchanged views on key issues on the agenda of the United Nations General Assembly, discussed the latest developments on the regional and international arenas, and reaffirmed the importance of continuing coordination and consultation on these matters.
The Prince’s representative also met with Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the friendly Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and his accompanying delegation, at the United Nations headquarters in New York City. The meeting reviewed the strong bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Islamic Republic of Pakistan and discussed ways to enhance and develop them in various fields.
It was agreed to work toward establishing a strategic dialogue between the two friendly countries, chaired by the two foreign ministers, to serve as a structured and regular framework for consultation and coordination, contributing to elevating bilateral relations to broader horizons that serve the common interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
The meeting also addressed key issues on the General Assembly’s agenda and discussed the latest developments on the regional and international arenas.
At the outset of the meeting, the Crown Prince conveyed His Highness the Amir’s greetings to His Excellency, wishing him good health and lasting progress and prosperity for the Republic of Senegal and its friendly people.
During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Senegal were discussed, along with ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, as well as exchanging views on the most prominent regional and international developments.
In a related development, the Prince’s representative received Nabil Fahmy, Secretary-General of the Arab League, and his accompanying delegation. His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir to the Secretary-General, expressing his wishes for success and prosperity in advancing the path of common Arab action. The meeting also focused on ways to strengthen Arab solidarity and cooperation, coordinate positions on Arab issues in international forums, and discuss the latest developments in the regional and international arenas.
In a series of meetings on Wednesday, the Prince’s representative received Karol Nawrocki, President of the friendly Republic of Poland, and his accompanying delegation; Dr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of the sister Federal Republic of Somalia, and his accompanying delegation; Justin Nsengiyumva, Prime Minister of the friendly Republic of Rwanda, and his accompanying delegation; and Dr. Nawaf Salam, President of the Council of Ministers of the sister Republic of Lebanon, and his accompanying delegation. During these meetings, the bilateral relations between Kuwait and the sister and friendly countries were discussed, along with the most prominent regional and international developments.
