Kuwait SC meets Al-Maqawloon

The Kuwait national volleyball team will play its second friendly match during its training camp in Cairo, Egypt, when it faces Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab club tomorrow, Thursday, in preparation for the Arab Men's National Teams Championship, scheduled to be held in Amman, Jordan, from October 5 to 15.

The "Volleyball Blues" played their first friendly match against the Egyptian Army team on Tuesday, which ended in a draw after the two teams split the four sets, with each side winning two sets. The match provided an opportunity for the coaching staff to assess the players' readiness and evaluate their technical and physical levels.

The coaching staff, led by Argentine coach Julian Alvarez and his national assistant Zaid Al-Kazimi, is working to enhance the team's readiness during the camp, while also implementing the tactical and technical aspects that will be relied upon in the Arab Championship. Additionally, they aim to achieve the highest possible level of cohesion between experienced players and young athletes.

In this context, team administrator Abdullah Al-Najdi affirmed that the Cairo camp is progressing according to the planned schedule and in a satisfactory manner. He praised the players' commitment and their regular attendance at the intensive daily training sessions, as well as their diligence in following the instructions of both the administrative and technical staff.
