Yemen coach... 'Realistic'

Yemeni national team coach, Algerian Nour Eddine Ould Ali, emphasized that his team aims to deliver a better performance at the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup, noting that the national team is working to build a competitive project despite the challenges it faces.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of the game against the UAE, Ould Ali said: “We have a number of talents, whether they are diaspora players or those in the local league. We do not differentiate between them; it is the performance on the pitch that determines everything.”

In response to a question about the promises he could make, he stated: “We do not want to deceive the fans with empty promises. We only promise to put in our best effort in every aspect, and that is the only promise we make to the Yemeni fans, who are expected to attend the stadium in large numbers.”
