Pakistan appoints first Secretary-General of the Makkah Agreement for Collective Defense

The Foreign Ministry stated in a statement that Mahmoud will assume leadership of the General Secretariat, which is being established in Riyadh.

The Mecca Agreement, signed on August 7 of last year, stipulates that any aggression against any of the three countries shall be considered an aggression against all of them.
