Al-Alemi: Kuwait supported Yemen's security and stability

Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad al-Alimi received a reply from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in response to al-Alimi’s message, which His Highness received at the end of last month.

Kuwait’s Ambassador to Yemen, Falah Al-Mutairi, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Tuesday that he delivered the reply from His Highness to President Rashad al-Alimi, in response to al-Alimi’s message, which was conveyed by Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Afrah Al-Zoubi during her visit to Kuwait at the end of last month.

For his part, President al-Alimi tasked Ambassador Al-Mutairi with conveying his greetings and those of the Council members to the Kuwaiti leadership, along with best wishes for the brotherly Kuwaiti people for continued progress and prosperity under their wise leadership.

He praised Kuwait’s political role in supporting the Yemeni government across various regional and international forums, as well as its generous humanitarian and developmental interventions, and the projects it has provided over decades that have left a profound impact on the lives of Yemenis. He expressed the Yemeni government’s aspiration to enhance this developmental and relief role at all levels.

Al-Alimi reiterated the Yemeni Republic’s condemnation of the blatant Iranian aggressions targeting Kuwait, considering Kuwait’s security an inseparable part of Yemen’s and the region’s security.

The President highlighted the efficiency of the Kuwaiti military in deterring threats and the leading role played by Kuwait in strengthening Arab solidarity and defending the security and stability of the region.
