Commercial Bank supports the academic experience

As part of the bank’s ongoing cooperation with the various governorates of Kuwait, within its social responsibility program that supports events organized by civil society institutions, including the Kuwaiti governorates, and driven by its belief in the importance of supporting and sponsoring educational events that enhance students’ academic experience at the start of the new school year, Commercial Bank sponsored school visits to schools in the Farwaniyah Governorate, conducted by Governor Sheikh Azubi Al-Sabah.

In coordination between the Farwaniyah Governorate and the Farwaniyah Education Directorate, the school visits were attended by the Governor, as well as Amani Al-Wara, Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Communications Sector at “Commercial Bank,” and the bank’s team. The bank sponsored visits to Abdurrahman Ali Al-Badaa Primary School (Boys) and Al-Mutawa’a Halima Primary School (Girls) in the West Abdullah Al-Mubarak area, on the occasion of the return to classrooms, to celebrate the start of the new academic year with students, provide them with some school supplies, and encourage them to focus on academic achievement, diligence, and hard work.

On this occasion, Al-Sabah praised the bank’s role, contributions, participation, and sponsorship of back-to-school events, noting that this initiative helps create a stimulating environment for students at the beginning of the academic year and reflects the bank’s commitment to supporting the educational journey.

For her part, Al-Wara stated: “The bank’s participation and sponsorship of back-to-school visits are part of its role in supporting education and society in general, within the framework of Commercial Bank’s comprehensive program for sponsoring the diverse activities and events organized by the Kuwaiti governorates and civil society institutions.”
