Lexus ES: A New Chapter in Electric Luxury

Mohammed Nasser Al-Sayer & Sons Company opened the Lexus booth at "Auto World 2026," held at the International Exhibition Center in Mishref. The opening was attended by Kenichiro Muka, the Japanese Ambassador to Kuwait; Mohammed Nasser Al-Sayer, a member of the Board of Directors; Salah Mohammed, General Manager of Marketing; along with senior executives from Lexus and Al-Sayer, and representatives from local and regional media outlets.
The event marked the official unveiling of Lexus's participation in this year's exhibition, headlined by two key vehicles that embody the brand's "Lexus Electrified" vision: the all-new Lexus ES and the fully electric Lexus RZ 500e.
Taking center stage at the Lexus booth is the eighth generation of the model, a cornerstone of the brand since 1989, long renowned for its exceptional levels of quietness, driving comfort, and luxury quality.
The new ES was developed under the concept of "Experience Elegant and Electrified Sedan," delivering a comprehensive evolution in electric technology, driving performance, design, interior space, safety, and technology. This heralds a new era of luxury driving while preserving the serene and refined character that has defined the model for over three decades.
The ES's debut in Kuwait represents a significant milestone in the development of the "Lexus Electrified" vision in the region. Customers can choose between hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) or, for the first time within the ES lineup in the region, fully electric models via the ES 500e. This reflects Lexus's multi-path approach to providing diverse electrified solutions that meet the varying needs of customers.
The ES 350h offers enhanced performance with the option of all-wheel drive, while the ES 500e combines a large, low-mounted battery with all-wheel drive, alongside Lexus's DIRECT4 torque vectoring system, providing stability and confident handling during driving.
Both powertrains are built on the comprehensively redesigned TNGA GA-K platform, tailored for both hybrid electric and fully electric vehicles, with enhanced body rigidity to achieve higher levels of stability during steering, acceleration, and deceleration.
For the first time in the ES model, the multi-link rear suspension and variable-ratio steering contribute to smoother driving and more stable control at various speeds. Models equipped with the Adaptive Variable Suspension add an additional level of exceptional comfort.
Design and interior space evolve in parallel with performance. Rooted in the "Clean Tech x Elegance" concept, the exterior design combines a low front end and horizontally extended fenders with the new generation of the Lexus Spindle Body design, new Twin L-Signature Lamps, and an integrated rear light design featuring the illuminated LEXUS logo.
Inside, the new ES is 165 mm longer, with a wheelbase increased by 80 mm compared to the previous generation. This provides a more spacious interior and greater comfort for rear-seat passengers, along with improved outward visibility.
Passengers can also customize the cabin ambiance through 14 predefined lighting patterns and 50 customizable colors, while the “Modern Bamboo” and “Micro Geometric” interior trim options add further warmth and refined texture to the cabin.
Technology and design are seamlessly integrated, with an equal emphasis on simplicity and ease of use. The new 14-inch “Display Audio” system features a sleek, streamlined design and rich graphics. The all-new “ES” also introduces “Responsive Hidden Switches” for the first time globally, seamlessly integrating physical controls into the steering wheel and instrument panel.
Safety technologies have also seen significant advancements through the “Lexus Safety System+ 4,” which includes an enhanced “Pre-Collision System” and “Radar Cruise Control” capable of detecting surrounding traffic earlier. Additionally, the newly developed “3D View” feature within the “Panoramic View Monitor” system is being applied for the first time in a Lexus vehicle.

Alongside the “ES,” the Lexus booth showcases the fully electric “Lexus RZ 500e,” the first battery-electric “SUV” from Lexus to be launched in Kuwait, representing a significant milestone in the brand’s journey toward electrification.
Developed from the ground up as a battery-electric vehicle (BEV), it continues the new chapter of “Lexus VOLT POWER,” reflecting the brand’s ongoing commitment to achieving carbon neutrality through advanced electric technologies.
The 2026 “RZ 500e” delivers up to 375 horsepower through the enhanced dual-motor “DIRECT4” all-wheel-drive system, providing exceptional stability and precise control across a wide range of driving conditions.
The new 77-kilowatt-hour battery also enhances driving range and efficiency, supported by higher charging speeds and battery preconditioning technology. For the first time, Lexus offers “Steer-by-Wire” technology in selected grades and markets, providing faster steering response and enhancing the connection between the driver and the road.
Inside the cabin, a comprehensive 14-inch digital display combined with the “Lexus Safety System+” blends a modern, user-friendly environment with proactive protection technologies that enhance driver confidence.
