Industry Authority Announces Winners of His Highness the Amir Award for Excellence, September 28

The Public Authority for Industry is preparing to announce the names of the industrial establishments that have won the Amir’s Award for Industrial Excellence in its seventh edition, at a ceremony to be held on Monday, September 28, under the high patronage of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

In a press statement, the Authority for Industry said that the Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry, and Chairman of the Authority for Industry’s Board of Directors, Abdulaziz Al-Marzouq, will attend the ceremony on behalf of His Highness the Amir, along with the Acting Director General of the Authority for Industry, Shamlan Al-Jahdali, and a large number of industrialists and officials from Kuwait’s industrial sector.

The Amir’s Award for Industrial Excellence was launched in 2002 and has achieved considerable success over the past six editions. It aims to promote a culture of excellence in organizational performance, foster competition among Kuwaiti industrial establishments, and familiarize them with administrative and technological developments. The award also encourages industrial institutions to measure their current performance against global best practices, helps them adopt policies of continuous improvement, and supports the promotion of national products.
