Brigitte Bardot's belongings worth one million euros

"Russia Today" – Le Figaro reported, citing the Millon auction house, that personal belongings of the late French actress Brigitte Bardot were sold at an auction in Paris for approximately one million euros.

According to a post by the newspaper: "285 personal and commemorative items belonging to Brigitte Bardot were sold at auction on Monday for approximately 954,000 euros, including commission, which is nearly 20 times their estimated value."

The most expensive item sold was a gold bracelet adorned with charms that had belonged to the late film star, which fetched 43,000 euros, despite an estimated value ranging between 800 and 1,200 euros, according to the auction house's website. Her personal painting came in second place, selling for 30,000 euros. Other items included clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, household items, personal photographs of Bardot, and more.

According to the newspaper, nearly 3,000 people from France and abroad registered to participate in the auction. All proceeds from the sale will be dedicated to the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, a charity focused on animal protection, and to the late actress's son.

Bernard d'Ormal, the film star's husband, had previously expressed his dissatisfaction with the sale of Bardot's personal belongings, stating that it was conducted without his consent. He described the auction as a disrespect to the actress's memory.

Bardot died on December 28, 2025, at the age of 91. Her funeral was held on January 7 at the cemetery in the resort town of Saint-Tropez.
