Abbar Al-Khalid gifts "The Blues" three songs for the 27th Gulf Cup
Sheikha Abrar Al-Khalid Al-Sabah, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the artistic production company “Ebiz Productions,” has sought to align with the participation of the Kuwaiti national team in the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup (“Khaleeji 27”), scheduled to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from September 23 to October 6. To this end, the company has produced three special musical works dedicated to “The Blues,” who will open the tournament tomorrow with a match against their brotherly Saudi Arabian national team.
In a press statement, Al-Khalid affirmed that supporting the Kuwaiti national team in this Gulf event is a national duty that rests on the shoulders of all of us. She noted that “Ebiz Productions” consistently strives to leverage its capabilities to produce national works that resonate with the hearts of the Kuwaiti public, contributing to boosting the morale of players and fans and supporting “The Blues” in their Gulf campaign.
She revealed the renewal of collaboration with the young director Shamlan Al-Nasir, who is directing the three songs. She stated, “We have renewed our confidence in this project with the young and distinguished director Shamlan Al-Nasir, following a series of shared successes we have achieved with him in the past. We are confident that his directorial vision will add a distinctive visual touch that matches the artistic value of the lyrics and melodies.”
She explained that the project aimed for diversity in musical styles, while bringing together established artists and young talents. She noted that the first song is titled “Our Blue is History,” featuring vocals by Abdul Salam Muhammad and Hanin, with lyrics by Ali Boughaith, composition by Abdul Salam Muhammad, and arrangement by Talal Al-Aidan.
Al-Khalid concluded her statement by expressing her wishes for success and good fortune for the Kuwaiti national team in “Khaleeji 27.” She expressed her hope that these works will help sharpen determination and provide the necessary moral support for “The Blues,” befitting the name and standing of Kuwait in this Gulf sporting event.
