Kuwaiti Port Undergoes Surgery

Rome - AFP - French striker Randal Kolo Muani underwent surgery on a finger after suffering a fracture during the fifth matchday of the Italian Serie A last Sunday, his club Juventus announced.

Kolo Muani, 27, has yet to score in the first five matches of the Serie A, but played a crucial role in Juventus’ 2-0 victory over Atalanta.

The striker joined Juventus this summer from French club Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of 41 million euros (approximately 47 million US dollars), after making a positive impression during his loan spell at the club, where he scored eight goals in 16 Serie A appearances over six months of the 2024-2025 season.

His manager, Luciano Spalletti, had criticized him for a lack of effectiveness after the first matchday, but has since reaffirmed his full confidence in the player despite his goalless run so far.
