Prince's Representative Meets with Latvian President in New York

Representing His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, met with Edgars Rinkevics, President of the friendly Republic of Latvia, and his accompanying delegation at the United Nations headquarters in New York City, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait to the President of Latvia, along with his best wishes for the President’s good health and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly Republic of Latvia and its people.

The meeting included discussions on the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Latvia, ways to enhance mutual cooperation in various fields, and an exchange of views on the most prominent regional and international developments.
