Crown Prince to the "Supportive Delegation" in New York: Highlighting Kuwait's pioneering role and showcasing its civilized image at international forums
The representative of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait, met with His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, in the presence of Sheikh Jaraah Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, with the heads of the technical offices and members of Kuwait’s Permanent Delegation to the United Nations, at the Permanent Delegation’s premises in New York City.
His Highness conveyed the Amir’s greetings and appreciation to the heads of the technical offices and members of the Permanent Delegation, commending their sincere efforts in representing Kuwait and defending its supreme interests.
Attending the meeting were Jassim Al-Budaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council; Sheikh Dr. Meshal Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Ambassador Mansour Ayad Al-Otaibi; Ambassador Sadiq Muhammad Ma’arfi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Organizations; Sheikha Al-Zain Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Saud Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s Ambassador to the United States of America; Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Banna, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations; Major General Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Duaiji, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office; and Counselor Abdullah Nasser Al-Obeidi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Minister’s Office.
In a separate meeting, the Amir’s representative, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with members of Kuwait’s supporting delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs participating in the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, at the Permanent Delegation’s premises in New York.
His Highness conveyed the Amir’s greetings to the supporting delegation members. He also provided them with his directives to highlight Kuwait’s pioneering and distinguished role in international forums and to showcase its civilized image.
His Highness urged them to exert their best efforts in carrying out their duties to enhance the prestige of their beloved country, and to leverage accumulated expertise to serve as the best ambassadors for Kuwait abroad, wishing them success and achievement.
