Kuwait Airways welcomes children of "Future Engineer 3"

Kuwait Airways received a group of children participating in the “Future Engineer 3” workshop, one of the activities of the 18th Summer Cultural Festival organized by the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters. The children visited the airline’s Engineering Department on a field trip aimed at introducing them to the engineering and artistic aspects of aviation and giving them a close-up look at the nature of work in this sector.

The visit included a tour of the aircraft hangar at the Engineering Department, where participants observed various engineering and technical aspects related to aircraft. They learned about the work of engineers and the tasks they perform in aircraft maintenance and safety, as well as the operational mechanisms within the engineering environment at Kuwait Airways.

Approximately 30 children, aged between 9 and 12, participated in the visit, accompanied by several engineers and supervisors. A simplified explanation, tailored to the participants’ age group, was provided to help broaden their understanding and enhance their interest in science, engineering, and fields related to the aviation sector.

This visit is part of Kuwait Airways’ corporate social responsibility and its commitment to supporting educational and cultural initiatives aimed at developing the skills of young people and familiarizing them with the aviation industry’s work environment, thereby fostering a spirit of learning, exploration, and innovation from an early age.
