Five players excluded from England's squad

Tino Livramento, Kobbie Mainoo, Cole Palmer, Marcus Rashford, and Declan Rice have all been ruled out of England’s upcoming UEFA Nations League matches.

The five players withdrew from the Three Lions’ squad due to injuries sustained. James Garner and Morgan Gibbs-White have been called up and will join their teammates at St George’s Park today.

Everton’s Garner earned his first two caps for the national team in March 2026, while Nottingham Forest’s Gibbs-White has six caps to his name.

England will host Spain at London’s Wembley Stadium in their first match on Saturday, September 26. The Three Lions will then face the Czech Republic in Prague on Tuesday, September 29, and Croatia in Rijeka on Saturday, October 3, before returning to Wembley to play the Czech Republic again on Tuesday, October 6, as part of the Group 3 fixtures in League A of the UEFA Nations League.
