Negotiation session to finalize the new airport operator

The Board of Directors of the Central Tenders Bureau (CTB) discussed, in its latest meeting, a request from the General Aviation Authority to review the results of the technical evaluation for the practice concerning the operation, management, and improvement of training services, maintenance, and development of the New Terminal (T2) and its associated aircraft aprons, as well as the institutional management of centralized operations and maintenance for the Kuwait International Airport model.

The CTB Board specified, in the minutes of its meeting published in the September 28 issue of the newspaper “Al-Kuwait Al-Youm,” the date for holding a negotiation session between the Turkish consortium, comprising TAV Airports Holding and Limak Construction, and the South Korean company Incheon.

It is worth noting that the new airport project is part of Kuwait’s steady steps toward achieving its full developmental vision as one of the most vital and strategic projects. The objective of this landmark goes beyond merely increasing passenger capacity; it aims to become a global aviation hub linking East and West, redefining the concept of travel in the Gulf and the Middle East, and laying the foundation for a new era of leadership in the aviation sector.
