204 kg of food products destroyed in Al-Asima

The Capital Governorate Inspection Department managed to issue 34 violation reports, shut down a non-compliant food establishment, and dispose of 204 kilograms of food items unfit for human consumption.

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition stated on its official account on the “X” platform that “the violations included displaying food items unfit for human consumption, failure to comply with health requirements and general and personal hygiene standards, trading in food and employing workers without meeting the required health conditions and obtaining the necessary health certificates, as well as transporting food items using unlicensed vehicles and operating an establishment after its health license had expired.”

It added that “the campaign resulted in the disposal of 204 kilograms of food items unfit for human consumption, with the necessary legal measures taken against the violators.”
