"Food Authority": Campaigns in Al-Jahra against warehouses and factories

The Al-Jahra Governorate Inspection Department of the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition conducted periodic inspection campaigns on a number of warehouses and factories within the governorate to verify compliance with approved laws, regulations, and health requirements. The inspection rounds resulted in the detection of several violations, most notably the display and sale of food items unfit for human consumption, and the opening and operation of a food establishment before obtaining the necessary license from the Authority, in addition to non-compliance with health requirements.

The Authority affirmed the continuation of its supervisory rounds on a periodic and regular basis, and the taking of necessary legal action against violators, contributing to the preservation of consumer health and safety.
