Kuwait strongly condemns the incursion by an Israeli occupation government minister into the Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation of the incursion into the Al-Aqsa Mosque by an Israeli occupation government minister and a number of extremist settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, in a grave violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

In a statement, the Ministry affirmed Kuwait’s categorical rejection of all provocative practices that undermine the existing legal and historical status of Jerusalem and its holy sites, renewing its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities to put an end to these violations.

The Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s steadfast position in support of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, foremost among them the establishment of an independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
